TYRE AND AUTOCENTRE TECHNICIAN

Location: Walsall Wood – Tyre and Autocentre Branch
Reporting To: Fast Fit Service Controller or Workshop Lead
Salary: Competitive, with bonus potential based on performance
Hours: Full time, Monday to Saturday rota

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a capable and reliable Tyre and Autocentre Technician to join our high performing fast fit team. This role is suited to someone confident working at pace while maintaining standards. From tyre changes to basic repairs and servicing, you will be expected to carry out everything inside the arch.
If you know your way around brakes, suspension, tyres and track rods – and can do it without leaving the place looking like a scrap yard, then we’d love to hear from you.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Fit and balance tyres including run flats, EV rated and XL spec
• Carry out puncture repairs to BSAU159 standards
• Complete oil and filter changes and basic servicing tasks
• Perform quick turnaround repairs including pads, discs, springs, shocks, drop links and arms
• Upsell alignment when tyre wear or steering concerns are identified
• Accurately follow torque and repair procedures on all wheel and brake jobs
• Maintain a clean, safe and professional work area at all times
• Complete all checklists and job cards clearly and correctly
