Your new role
As Tyre Sales Specialist, your new role at CMI Toyota Portside will work closely with the Service Manager, Service Advisors and workshop staff to oversee the sales, purchasing and operations of our busy tyre store. This role is ideal for a passionate tyre expert or store manager looking to take on additional responsibility as the next step in their successful career with a leading South Australian family business.

What you’ll be doing

  • Running a successful tyre store to achieve sales and profit goals
  • Fostering strong relationships with customers to provide tailored recommendations
  • Developing and implementing strategies to improve service, drive sales, and increase profits
  • Monitoring and controlling inventory, completing regular stocktakes to minimise variances
  • Supporting with occasional workshop tasks like fitting, balancing, and aligning as required

About you

Responsibilities

TO DRIVE YOUR SUCCESS IN THIS ROLE, YOU’LL HAVE:

  • Previous experience, demonstrated success and passion for tyre sales
  • Exceptional customer service and interpersonal communication skills
  • A strong sense of self-motivation, with a focus on achieving sales and targets
  • A breadth of knowledge of the various tyre brands, sizes and applications
  • Strong mechanical aptitude, with an interest and willingness to learn more
  • A current driver’s licence is essential
