QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

  • High School Diploma or Technical Certification in Automotive or related field.
  • Proven experience in tyre inspection, fitting, or maintenance (minimum 2-3 years preferred).
  • Knowledge of tyre brands, types, and applications (light vehicles, trucks, heavy machinery).
  • Familiarity with tyre inspection tools and diagnostic equipment.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to identify tyre-related safety risks.
  • Basic computer literacy for data entry/reporting.
  • Physically fit to handle tyre lifting and manual inspection work.
  • Must know to Speak English

Responsibilities
  • Conduct daily and periodic tyre inspections on company vehicles, trucks, buses, and heavy equipment.
  • Check for abnormal wear, tread depth, air pressure, and physical damages (cuts, bulges, cracks, etc.).
  • Use tyre pressure gauges, tread depth tools, and digital inspection systems to assess tyre condition.
  • Report unsafe or worn-out tyres and recommend repair, retread, or replacement.
  • Maintain accurate inspection logs, reports, and tyre history records.
  • Monitor tyre inventory and assist in managing stock levels of tyres and related materials.
  • Ensure tyres are fitted, balanced, and aligned according to manufacturer specifications.
  • Follow all safety procedures and regulations during inspections and maintenance.
  • Coordinate with the maintenance team for timely tyre replacements and repairs.
  • Educate drivers/operators on tyre care and pre-trip tyre checks.
