Health Solutions Broking Consultant/Senior Consultant

This role is virtual and coordinates with Aon teams and partnering carriers around the country.

What the day will look like
Oversees renewal and RFP transactions - Medical, Stop Loss, and Voluntary Benefits product focus
Negotiates terms, conditions, and pricing with vendors on behalf of clients
Peer reviews renewal and RFP transactions for U.S. Broking colleagues
Works closely with supporting analysts, vendors and client teams to deliver client value through consistent deliverables
Consults as subject matter expert with U.S. Broking leadership and extended leadership to develop and drive the strategy and approach of U.S. Broking benefits
Subject matter expert to answer market trend and product questions from the field
Mentors and trains junior colleagues within Broking to enhance overall team knowledge and value.

Skills and experience that will lead to success Life & Health license required Benefit consulting or benefit management experience required Strong project management discipline and experience leading projects independently Professional approach and strong written and oral communication skills Strong product and technical knowledge; specific (but not limited to) Medical and Stop Loss employee benefits Ability to multi-task and work within deadlines

EDUCATION:

Bachelor’s degree or 3+ years of relevant experience

Salary range for the position
The salary range for this position (intended for U.S. applicants) is $78,000 - $120,000.00 annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary range reflected is based on a primary work location of Chicago, IL. The actual salary may vary for applicants in a different geographic location.
This position is eligible to participate in one of Aon’s annual incentive plans to receive [an annual discretionary bonus in addition to base salary. The amount of any bonus varies and is subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable incentive plan.
