Title: UABOS Turkey: Vehicle Operations Superintendent Belong, Connect, Grow, with KBR! Program Summary The KBR UABOS Program provides comprehensive BASE OPERATING SUPPORT – INSTALLATION (BOS-I) services at Incirlik Air Base in Turkey. These services are delivered to support the 39th Air Base Wing, mission partners, and tenant units, encompassing a diverse range of personnel including transient, temporary duty (TDY), permanent party, and rotational personnel. The program ensures the seamless functioning of operations, maintenance, and support activities essential for the sustained mission readiness and operational effectiveness of UABOS and its associated units. The UABOS (Turkey) Vehicle Operations Superintendent is responsible for performing supervising functions such as vehicle dispatch, planning and scheduling transportation support, performing fleet and operations analyses, administering driver qualification and licensing program, developing cost center resource estimates, or investigating accidents or incidents. Roles and Responsibilities Oversee daily vehicle operations including dispatch, scheduling, utilization, and availability to support base operations and mission requirements. Manage fleet maintenance coordination by ensuring preventive maintenance, repairs, inspections, and documentation are performed in accordance with contract, safety, and manufacturer standards. Supervise and lead vehicle operations staff, including drivers, dispatchers, and supervisors; provide training, performance management, and compliance oversight. Ensure regulatory and contract compliance with U.S. Government, DoD, host nation, safety, and environmental requirements related to vehicle operations. Monitor operational performance and costs, track fleet metrics, prepare reports, and recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency and readiness. Ensure effective spill prevention and response capability within Civil Engineering and maintain spill response equipment, supplies, and PPE for coordination and response exercises. Other duties, as assigned. Basic Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Minimum five (5) years of experience in vehicle operations work centers with 2 of the five years in vehicle dispatch and operator records and licensing. Must be US Citizen Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and fleet/logistics management systems. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Must be able to obtain and maintain required base access and background clearance as dictated by the contract. Preferred Qualifications: Prior experience on U.S. Government sustainment contracts. Knowledge of host nation transportation regulations, customs, and road safety requirements. Familiarity with Costpoint, Maximo, or similar asset/fleet management systems. Experience supporting airfields, base operations, or expeditionary environments.
