Full Time| Monday - Friday| Occasional early-in or late-out with flex-time available. Job Summary: The UAS Operator utilizes drones to capture imagery of Choctaw Nation properties and facilities. The UAS Operator will create imagery products using post-processing software and other raster-based products. Primary Tasks: Weekly and repeated drone flights of facilities and properties Conduct pre-flight planning to include operational briefings, analyzing weather forecasts, notice to Airmen (NOTAMs), and airspace requirements. Communicate and coordinate with internal and external entities for safe flight operations. Execute operational needs and mission requirements. Document and complete pre and post UAS logs. Perform equipment testing, troubleshooting, and maintenance. Post-process imagery data for use within a GIS environment. Consistently track progress and provide weekly reports to management. All other duties as assigned. Job Requirements: Valid Driver’s License. Ability to obtain FAA Part 107 certification within 90 days of hire. Must be in a physical and mental condition to safely fly a drone. Excellent attention to detail, strong organizational skills, professional attitude, and self-motivation. Ability to think critically and learn new processes Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
