We are seeking an experienced drone pilot who has exceptional communication and leadership skills, is responsible, and able to work part-time. Key Responsibilities: · Operate drones (Unmanned Aerial Systems, UAS) to ensure safe takeoff, navigation, and landing. · Analyze weather conditions, plan flight paths, and conduct pre-flight safety check to ensure optimal performance. · Capture aerial footage, digital images, and sensor data as required for mapping, surveying, and analysis. · Perform routine equipment checks, troubleshoot technical issues, and ensure proper maintenance of drone systems. · Maintain required FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot Certificate, obtain airspace waivers, and monitor compliance with flight regulations. · Keep detailed pre-flight and post-flight logs, documenting all mission details and drone performance. · Work with airport personnel, stakeholders, and team members to ensure smooth operations and adherence to flight restrictions. · Attend regular training sessions to enhance drone piloting skills, stay updated on industry trends, and improve flight techniques. · Monitor UNICOM frequencies, issue NOTAMs (Notices to Airmen), and ensure situational awareness for safe flight operations. · Adapt to evolving project needs, supporting additional drone-related operations as required. Education and Experiences · Remote Pilot Certificate from the FAA. · FAA Part 107 Drone License. Skills and Qualifications · Strong communication skills · Robust problem-solving abilities · Excellent electronic and mechanical skills · Expertise in multitasking · Keen attention to detail · Excellent pilot skills Work Requirements: Regular and on-time attendance.
