For more details visit www.flytradewind.com About the role: We are seeking a highly skilled UAT Test Engineer to ensure the delivery of high-quality software solutions that meet business requirements and user expectations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in testing methodologies, excellent collaboration skills, and the ability to quickly learn complex business processes and proprietary systems to design and execute comprehensive testing plans. Experience in the airline industry is a significant plus. Responsibilities: Develop, author, and execute detailed UAT test plans and scripts based on business requirements and system specifications. Collaborate closely with software developers, QA teams, and project managers to ensure quality deliverables. Validate end-to-end business processes and confirm system functionality aligns with user needs. Identify, document, and track defects; work with development teams to resolve issues promptly. Provide clear and concise feedback to stakeholders and participate in go/no-go decision-making. Quickly learn and understand proprietary systems and business workflows to ensure thorough testing coverage. Contribute to continuous improvement of UAT processes and best practices. Requirements Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree (4-year degree) in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or related field. Minimum 5 years of experience in User Acceptance Testing or related QA/testing roles. Demonstrated success working with cross-functional teams including developers, QA, and project managers. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Excellent communication and documentation skills. Ability to quickly learn complex systems and business processes. Familiarity with testing tools and defect tracking systems (e.g., Jira, HP ALM, or similar). Highly desirable for any of these additional skillsets: Experience in the airline industry or related transportation sectors. Knowledge of Agile and Waterfall methodologies. ISTQB or similar testing certification is a plus. Work & Physical Requirements Able to lift up to 60 lbs. Available to work weekends, holidays, and provide after-hours accessibility to personnel and leadership. 50% travel required across the Northeast Region, Southeast Region, Bahamas and limited time in the Caribbean. Prolonged periods of desk work using a computer. Exposure to outdoor elements including heat, cold, rain, wind, and sun during ramp and operational duties.
