Key Responsibilities UC Solution Design & Implementation * Design and implement Unified Communications architectures that meet business requirements and align with the organization’s technology strategy. * Perform network assessments to evaluate UC readiness and provide recommendations to enhance performance, quality, and reliability. Configuration & Management * Configure, manage, and maintain UC devices including:  * IP phones * Video conferencing systems * Collaboration endpoints * Integrate UC solutions with enterprise systems such as Active Directory, Exchange, and other IT infrastructure components. Technical Support & Troubleshooting * Provide L2/L3 technical support for UC solutions and troubleshoot complex UC issues. * Work closely with vendors and service providers to ensure optimal UC system performance and timely resolution of escalations. Documentation & Process Management * Develop and maintain comprehensive UC documentation:  * Network diagrams * Device configuration records * Troubleshooting procedures * Architecture and standards documentation Virtualization Management * Manage virtual machines using industry‑standard virtualization tools (VMware, Hyper‑V, etc.), including:  * Creating and configuring VMs * Maintaining VM storage, compute, and networking * Ensuring high availability and performance of virtualized components Security & Compliance * Implement and maintain robust security measures to protect UC environments from threats such as malware, unauthorized access, and system vulnerabilities. * Ensure compliance with organizational security standards and best practices. Continuous Improvement * Stay up to date with emerging UC technologies, industry trends, and vendor updates. * Propose enhancements and improvements to UC infrastructure and operational processes. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Preferred Skills & Qualifications (Optional – can be added if you want) * Experience with Microsoft Teams, Cisco UC, Zoom, AudioCodes, or SBC technologies * Knowledge of VoIP protocols (SIP, RTP, QoS) * Strong understanding of firewalls, DNS, DHCP, and network fundamentals * Experience with monitoring and management tools related to UC environments * Certifications such as:  * Microsoft Teams Voice Engineer (MS-720) * Cisco CCNP Collaboration * AudioCodes ACA/ACP * ITIL Foundation At Zensar, we’re “experience-led everything”.
