We are looking for a UDX Signature Developer to join our team in Ajman, UAE

Key Responsibilities:

  • Development and writing signatures for monitoring and blocking application network activity.
  • Researching application behavior at the network level to identify unique traffic characteristics (identifiers).
  • Testing signatures for accuracy, stability, and performance.
  • Analyzing PCAP traces and logs to verify and debug signatures.
  • Reducing false positives and improving detection efficiency.
  • Face-to-face collaboration with Allot customers, including regular visits to client offices to support deployment, troubleshooting, and relationship management.
  • Collaborating with Allot engineers and researchers to clarify requirements.
  • Participating in the development, optimization, and maintenance of the signature database.
  • Maintaining internal documentation and testing methodologies.

Requirements:

  • Strong understanding of network protocols (Ethernet, IP, TCP, UDP, HTTP/S, DNS, TLS/SSL, etc.).
  • Proficiency in analyzing network traffic using Wireshark, tcpdump and similar tools.
  • Experience working in a Linux environment and confident use of the command line.
  • Knowledge of DPI (Deep Packet Inspection) principles, application identification, and Layer 7 filtering.
  • Willingness to participate team oncall rotation, including weekends and off-business hours
  • Working in morning and evening shifts
  • Conversational English and Arabic skills.
