Job Description: - UEM Architect The UEM Architect plays a crucial role in securing and optimizing the organization’s digital assets. The Microsoft UEM Solution Architect utilizes expert-level experience and knowledge of Unified Endpoint Management (UEM) to design, implement, and manage users and device solutions. Close collaboration with cross-functional teams is essential for understanding business requirements, evaluating existing systems, and improving endpoint management and access controls. Proficiency in UEM technologies and best practices is vital for protecting data and ensuring compliance with regulations. The successful candidate will be part of a global practice and solutions team tasked with designing, building effort estimations, and deploying a comprehensive Unified Endpoint solution. This includes UEM solutions both on-premises and in the cloud for existing and prospective clients through requests for proposals (RFP) and requests for information (RFI). Key Functional Areas of Expertise Architects and consulting roles in the projects, Design and implementation, hands-on experience. Technical specialization / External certifications Build the vital competency centres. Excellent quality of delivery Build a portfolio of successful projects, references, and credentials. Market research Technical Expertise the key responsibilities of the role include: Candidates with 12-16+ years’ experience in architecture, designing solutions, migrating on-prem Active Directory and any Identity Access solution, and cloud solutions. Must have 10+ years of relevant experience. Responsible for designing specific technology solutions from high-level to detailed-level designs, deployment, and handover to delivery. Key technical skills required. Infrastructure design and architecture setup with Intune Microsoft Endpoint Management – Responsible for device management, maintaining the Intune/Autopilot environment OSD creation/maintenance, application packaging/deployment, Windows patching, hardware specs, etc. Administer, integrate and co-management (Intune-SCCM/MECM) Device Management – JAMF and Intune MDM Setup of Policies M365 Security Products (Microsoft Defender ATP, MDAV, Azure RMS) Microsoft Windows 10 Security and Management (Bit locker, MBAM, Device Guard, Credential Guard) JAMF Pro integration: Integrating JAMF Pro with Intune to bring device compliance and Conditional Access policies to macOS devices. Infrastructure design and architecture setup Windows 10 driver, power utility AD/GPO/Azure Cloud integration Security: Experience in Working with Microsoft Defender ATP, MDAV, Azure RMS, Bit locker, MBAM, Device Guard, and Credential Guard Maintaining and managing SCCM/MECM servers, setting up Distribution points – Capacity constraints in distribution points Work along with 3rd party vendors to troubleshoot core applications and patch deployment issues. In-depth expertise in Autopilot, Co-management, CMG, Conditional Access, device policies, MAM for IOS and Android), in-depth understanding of Azure Active Directory and Office 365, Security (LAPS, Bit locker, Windows Hello for Business, Certificate 802.1X) Good experience in Microsoft Cloud/Hybrid Cloud Management. Onboarding, configuring, and transitioning to the cloud. Exposure to Integration and Network Security Understanding of LAN, WAN & voice network environments, routing protocols, and various technology architectures, including TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, LAN, WAN, Wireless, VPN Extensive hands-on support experience in supporting Windows 10 and the O365 Office suite of programs. Experience in Setting up SCCM/MECM Servers, Distribution Servers, and Site Servers Experience with WSUS and Patch Management using SCCM/MECM Strong working experience with GPOs – Ability to work on Package Distribution, Patch management and release management troubleshooting.
