SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:

Applicants are required to be able to obtain and maintain Australian Defence Force security clearance.
Applicants must be able to satisfy the US Government ITAR and EXIM requirements.
Employment may be contingent on the satisfactory result of criminal and/or other background screens, which require the collection and transfer of personal information.
This role will be based at Holsworthy, NSW.

Responsibilities
  • Platform specific safety familiarisation course (or equivalent)
  • Competence assessment on the task being authorised
  • System or component specific courses for component level maintenance
  • An understanding of Plan, Brief, Execute, Debrief (PBED) principles
  • Demonstrated understanding of WH&S requirements
  • Demonstrate an understanding of the effects of Human Factors in Maintenance.
  • Tertiary qualifications (Certificate IV or above) in a relevant discipline Aeroskills – Avionics, from a recognised institution
  • Appropriate aircraft trade qualifications (eg. trade papers, apprenticeship, indentures etc).
  • Excellent knowledge and understanding of the requirements of DASRs
