Job Description
The Game Tester will work closely with the UI Cell and other departments (Localisation & Narrative) to ensure they meet their goals, and ensure that the QA team is kept updated on developments.
Testing both the game and supporting tools, the game tester should have a good understanding of the bug life cycle and has keen eye for detail to identify issues, conduct thorough investigation and clearly report them via verbal and written bug reports.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • At least 1-2 years of experience in quality control, quality assurance, or related experience (troubleshooting, testing)
  • Bilingual FR/EN
  • Understanding on build cycle and branch
  • Good knowledge of QA methodologies, tools and processes;
  • Knowledge of bug tracking software (e.g. Jira) and test management tools (e.g. TestRail and Xray)
  • Knowledge of Windows OS (win 10) and consoles (Xbox, PlayStation.)
  • Rigorous and methodical;
  • Proactive, autonomous and resourceful;
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving, organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • A highly collaborative, empathetic, and innovative spirit
  • A solid understanding of the development process & a passion for video games

Responsibilities
  • Assign bugs to the appropriate team
  • Work closely with UI, Localisation and Narrative teams to identify areas to test and construct clear and relevant test cases
  • Support the development team in deeper investigation of issues reported and of potential fixes
  • Create & update documentation on processes, best practices, and tools
  • Contribute ideas and/or create opportunities to help the team improve the quality of processes
  • Perform other duties as assigned
