TORKLAW, a leading personal injury law firm, is seeking a highly skilled and motivated UI/UX Designer to join our dynamic team, and lead the design of an ambitious effort to build the best case management software in the industry.
You’ll play a key role in shaping a software application that utilizes AI, data, and an intuitive user experience to streamline and simplify case management.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Interaction Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field.
  • Experience demonstrating the ability to comprehend complex system logic and craft clear, intuitive interfaces around it.
  • Proven experience as a UI/UX Designer, with a strong portfolio demonstrating both UI and UX work.
  • Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe XD, Sketch, Figma, or similar software.
  • Solid understanding of user-centered design principles, wireframing, prototyping, and user testing.
  • Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, and responsive design practices.
  • Excellent visual design skills with an eye for detail, typography, color theory, and layout.
  • Familiarity with design systems, design libraries, and component-based design.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to present and defend design decisions.
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, agile environment.
  • Minimum internet speed of 50 Mbps download / 20 Mbps upload.
  • Hard-wired Ethernet connection preferred; if Wi-Fi is used, it must maintain a consistent link speed of 400 Mbps and reliable coverage.
Responsibilities
  • Take ownership of crafting a consistent and coherent design language throughout the entire application.
  • Design seamless and engaging user interfaces for web and mobile platforms.
  • Conduct user research, create wireframes, prototypes, and perform user testing.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers and product managers in an agile environment.
  • Apply design systems, libraries, and component-based approaches to maintain consistency.
