Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

Whale Song is seeking a talented UI/UX Designer to shape the user experience and visual design of our digital products and mobile applications. In this role, you will apply user-centered design principles to define workflows, enhance usability, and create visually compelling interfaces that drive measurable impact.
You will work independently and collaboratively with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders, balancing creativity with practicality. From user research to wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs, you’ll ensure that every solution delivers intuitive and engaging experiences for our clients.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Understand Requirements: Translate business and user needs into clear design solutions by reviewing stakeholder input and user requirements.
  • Define Information Architecture: Organize content and workflows to ensure logical and intuitive user navigation.
  • Create Personas & Workflows: Develop user personas, scenarios, and journey maps to guide design decisions.
  • Design & Prototype: Produce wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes that illustrate design concepts and functionality.
  • Apply User-Centered Design: Enhance usability, expand functionality, and elevate the visual appeal of applications across web and mobile platforms.
  • Conduct Research & Testing: When needed, perform user research, usability testing, and feedback analysis to validate and refine designs.
  • Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Work closely with product managers and developers to ensure designs are implemented effectively and aligned with project objectives.
  • Contribute to Complex Projects: Independently handle moderately complex design initiatives while collaborating with the team on larger efforts.
