QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS REQUIRED

  • Bachelor’s degree in UI/UX Design, Graphic Design, HCI, a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of professional UI/UX design experience.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing design projects and your design process.
  • Ability to conduct and interpret user testing and usability research methodologies.
  • Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, Figma, or similar.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Eagerness to learn and grow in a dynamic team environment.
  • Ability to iterate on designs based on feedback and react in a constructive manner to direct feedback and constructive criticism.
  • Experience working with design systems and component libraries
  • Familiarity with front-end development technologies, no need to write code, but understanding how things work with their designs (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
  • Understanding of accessibility standards and guidelines.
  • Solid organizational, planning and self-motivation skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail with respect to creating visual design concepts and assets

Responsibilities
  • Lead in conducting user research to understand user needs, preferences, and behaviors.
  • Conduct and synthesize user research to inform design decisions.
  • Create wireframes, and high-fidelity prototypes to visualize and communicate design concepts.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers and product managers, to ensure design feasibility and alignment with project goals.
  • Implement feedback from team members and users to refine and improve designs.
  • Assist in preparing design documentation, including user flows, design specifications, style guides, and updates to our design system.
  • Stay informed about current design trends, emerging technologies, and industry best practices.
  • Give and receive thoughtful feedback in design critiques
