We are seeking a UI/UX Engineer who is passionate about designing and delivering exceptional user experience for enterprise users. This is a unique opportunity to help shape the look, feel, and usability of mobile solutions that drive productivity for workers in warehouses, factories, and field environments, as well as the frameworks and tools used by RFgen implementation consultants worldwide.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Human-Computer Interaction, Design, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
• 3+ years of professional experience as a UI/UX Engineer or similar role, ideally in a B2B software, enterprise SaaS, or mobile app development environment.
• Experience designing and building user interfaces for mobile apps (Android/iOS) and/or enterprise web applications.

TECHNICAL SKILLS

• Proficiency with front-end development (e.g., HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/TypeScript, React or similar frameworks).
• Experience using modern UI/UX design tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD).
• Strong understanding of responsive and mobile-first design principles.
• Knowledge of usability testing methods, accessibility standards, and UX best practices.

SOFT SKILLS

• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work cross-functionally with global teams.
• Ability to simplify complex workflows into intuitive, efficient user experiences.
• Creative thinker who balances innovation with practical implementation.

ROLE OVERVIEW

As a UI/UX Engineer, you will collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and implementation consultants to design intuitive, efficient, and modern user interfaces for both:

• RFgen Mobile Edge Suites (industry-specific mobile apps for supply chain, manufacturing, and field operations)
• RFgen Mobile Unity Platform (our core development and configuration environment used by consultants and customers)

This role requires a balance of hands-on UI/UX design expertise, front-end engineering skills, and an understanding of how to optimize usability for B2B enterprise users who rely on RFgen in high-performance, real-world environments.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design, prototype, and implement modern user interfaces for RFgen’s mobile and desktop applications.
• Refresh and evolve UI frameworks within the RFgen Mobile Unity Platform to improve usability and consultant productivity.
• Translate business and technical requirements into intuitive workflows and interaction patterns.
• Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and services consultants to validate designs and ensure adoption in the field.
• Conduct user research, usability testing, and gather feedback from enterprise customers and internal teams.
• Establish and maintain UI/UX design standards, ensuring consistency across RFgen product lines.
• Stay ahead of mobile and enterprise UX trends to ensure RFgen apps remain at the forefront of productivity and usability.
