JOB SUMMARY

Do you have engineering knowledge of general electronics, to include: analogue, digital and radio frequency techniques?
If you do, come and join our amazing team at Dstl! You will be a highly valued team member and will recover and exploit information from collected exploitable material to provide actionable intelligence for the wider intelligence community.
This role will require you to make decisions delivering technical and analytical outputs within the guidelines using appropriate practices in doing so
You will think creatively and innovatively to overcome problems providing initial interpretations of the data obtained.

Degree, NVQ or equivalent experience in working with electronics or engineering

Responsibilities

IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL:

  • Work with our team and other capabilities to examine and test a range of electronic and mechanical devices in a laboratory environment to ensure a full understanding of the device is gained.
  • Engage with customers (both internal and external) to understand requirements.
  • Deliver high quality technical information in an agreed format that is clear, concise and understandable by both technical and non-technical customers and colleagues.
  • Maintain accurate case notes and supply reliable information to databases.
