ABOUT US

The UK Dementia Trials Network (UK DTN) aims to accelerate early phase clinical trial set up and delivery in dementias and other neurodegenerative diseases. It is expected that UK DTN will grow to a network of over 20 sites across all four nations of the UK over five years
The UK DTN Coordinating Centre team, based at UCL and UCLH, are responsible for the strategic set up and delivery of the whole programme, including the implementation of the UK-wide network.
The Director of UK DTN is Professor Cath Mummery, who holds senior positions in both UCL and UCLH, and who leads both the NIHR Dementia Translational Research Centre and UK DTN.

Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for an enthusiastic and self-driven communications professional with experience of building an ethical brand and storytelling across multiple platforms, who will play a key role within the Coordinating Centre team of the UK DTN.
Working with the UK DTN senior leadership team, you will develop and deliver a communications strategy focused on engaging the dementia clinical trials community and establishing the Network as a trusted voice for excellent dementia trials delivery both nationally and internationally. This is an opportunity to be part of a fast-paced organisation and put your stamp on our identity as we collectively work to tackle dementia.
The post is available immediately and is funded by UK Dementia Trials Network UK (via NIHR BRC funding) to 31 March 2026 in the first instance, with expectation of extension to 31 December 2029.
