What you’ll do:
Viasat International Government delivers secure space, cyber, and network solutions to governments around the world. Within VIG the UK Team focuses on Defence users across MoD and partners across goverment. The successful candidate will be engaged across defence focsing on MoD to help them realise their ambitions for the Digital Targeting Web, tactical networks, crypto and satellite communications.
In this role, the individual will be working with tactical and operatioinal level user groups to capture real world challenges and requirements, and influencing senior defence officials to shape policy, and drive brand awareness and preference for Viasat’s products and services.
You will be part of a team delivering mission critical capablities to our partners and in a company that through projects such as Moonlight, is working to deliver the digital highway on and around the moon.
The day-to-day:

Day to day the individual will be engaging across

• Front Line Commands
• Special User Groups
• Partners Across Goverment

They will be working to solve challenges with Viasat’s extensive satellite and defence technologies portfolio including

• Resilient network archetectures
• Multi Domain Integration and C2
• Commercial Satcom
• Securing data in transit
• Milsatcom UHF

With a focus on end user engagement, the successful candidate will also be engaged across our industry partners including large primes in both the strategic SATCOM and LE TacCIS programmes and SMEs including UAx manufacturers, satcom partners and defence Mission Partners.

What you’ll need:

• 5 years BD experence or relevent recent experience in defence
• Ability to attain a UK Security Clearance
• Technical mindset preferably with communications engineering background
