As the UK Nursing Information Officer at the Royal College of Nursing, you will be instrumental in shaping the future of nursing informatics and digital health. Your primary responsibility will be to lead the development of the RCN’s vision and strategy, working collaboratively with a range of stakeholders to drive innovative solutions that address contemporary health and social care challenges. This role positions you as a key influencer, helping to establish the RCN as the authoritative voice of nursing. In addition to strategic development, you will manage and deliver key projects aimed at enhancing nursing practice through digital transformation. Your expertise will be essential in fostering strong relationships with external stakeholders, including professional bodies and public groups. Furthermore, you will provide expert advice on policy, practice, and educational elements of digital health nursing. Responsible for developing high-quality resources—such as clinical guidelines and best practice standards—you will play a crucial role in advancing nursing informatics to improve nursing practice and patient care.
