DESCRIPTION

As a Senior Consultant within the UK P&C Consulting Practice you will work with some of the market’s top thought leaders designing and implementing cutting-edge solutions to portfolio management, underwriting and pricing challenges faced by the world’s leading commercial insurers.

In your role you will be helping our clients by:

  • Collaborate with clients to assess their current portfolio management processes and identify areas for improvement.
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance portfolio management functions, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Collect, analyse, and interpret data to support portfolio management decisions.
  • Design and develop dashboards to provide clients with clear and actionable insights.
  • Support clients in the business planning process, including forecasting, budgeting, and performance analysis.
  • Provide training and guidance to client teams on best practices in portfolio management.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements to ensure clients receive cutting-edge solutions.

THE REQUIREMENTS

  • Proven experience in commercial or specialty insurance, with a focus on portfolio management.
  • Proven experience in data collation and developing dashboards to support portfolio management.
  • Strong background in supporting the business planning process.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain client relationships.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • The ability to see the “big picture”, leveraging the resources of related practices to address the clients’ business challenges and understanding how portfolio management supports both pricing and underwriting needs.
  • A forward-thinking mindset with a desire to innovate and challenge traditional practices.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage underwriting teams, technology partners, and senior leadership.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and drive change effectively.
  • Advocate for the value of data enrichment in commercial lines portfolio management, pricing and underwriting
