JOB OVERVIEW:

We are looking for a passionate and engaging Ukulele Instructor to join our creative education team. The ideal candidate is musically skilled, experienced in teaching ukulele to children and/or beginners, and capable of creating a fun and inspiring learning environment. This is a part-time position, ideal for musicians or music educators who enjoy sharing their talents and working with students of all ages.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Proficiency in playing and teaching the ukulele
• Prior teaching experience (with children or beginners preferred)
• Strong communication and classroom management skills
• Energetic, patient, and creative teaching style
• Ability to adapt lessons to different age groups and skill levels
• Music education background or certification is an asset

• Teach beginner to intermediate ukulele lessons in individual or group settings
• Develop lesson plans that incorporate music theory, technique, and performance
• Foster a supportive, enthusiastic, and inclusive classroom atmosphere
• Track student progress and provide regular feedback to students and parents
• Prepare students for informal performances or recitals as needed
• Handle setup and care of ukulele equipment (provided or student-owned)
