This role is ideal for a highly skilled engineer with deep expertise in testing and regulatory compliance. The Sr. Test & Compliance Engineer will design, execute, and oversee complex test plans for hardware and software systems, ensuring adherence to UL, CE, ISO, and other regulatory standards. You will collaborate with internal teams and external test labs, provide technical mentorship, and manage product risk assessments throughout the lifecycle. The position requires a proactive approach to compliance, problem-solving, and process improvement, while supporting global product development initiatives. Strong documentation, reporting, and cross-functional collaboration skills are essential to drive quality and regulatory excellence. This role offers exposure to cutting-edge technologies and regulatory frameworks in a dynamic, global work environment. \n Accountabilities: Design, implement, and execute comprehensive test plans including functional, performance, verification, and validation protocols. Conduct manual and automated testing of hardware and software systems, ensuring all products meet compliance and regulatory standards. Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external labs to ensure adherence to UL, CE, ISO, RoHS, WEEE, FCC, and other regulatory standards. Prepare, maintain, and review test documentation, including test reports, risk assessments, FMEA, and hazard analysis. Mentor junior engineers on testing methodologies, tools, and compliance standards. Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement strategies to enhance test effectiveness and product quality. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to stay current with regulatory changes, emerging standards, and best practices. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field. Advanced degrees or equivalent experience a plus. 8+ years of experience in test engineering, quality assurance, or regulatory compliance roles. Extensive knowledge of regulatory standards and product certification processes (UL, CE, ISO, RoHS, WEEE, FCC). Hands-on experience with manual and automated testing tools, frameworks, and test management systems (e.g., Jira, TestRail). Strong understanding of risk management practices, including FMEA and hazard analysis. Proven ability to drive product compliance initiatives from concept to certification. Excellent documentation, communication, and presentation skills. Attention to detail, problem-solving capabilities, and leadership skills. Relevant certifications (e.g., ISTQB, Six Sigma) are a plus. Ability to travel domestically and internationally to support product development. Benefits: Competitive salary range: $130,000 – $140,000 annually.
