APERÇU DU POSTE :

On est à la recherche d’un Spécialiste ULC – Alarmes incendie & intrusion pour faire des inspections et assurer que les systèmes de sécurité et d’incendie rencontrent les normes ULC.

POSITION OVERVIEW:

We are seeking a skilled ULC Specialist – Fire & Intrusion Alarms to perform inspections and ensure compliance of security and fire systems with ULC standards.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • ULC knowledge in security and/or fire system inspection.
  • Proven experience in inspecting and testing fire alarm systems, security systems, and related equipment.
  • Strong understanding of applicable codes, standards, and safety regulations.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and reporting skills.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple inspection projects.
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Valid CCQ/BSP cards are essential. We will cover the cost of renewing your BSP card.

PREFERRED SKILLS:

  • Experience with a variety of security systems (access control, CCTV, intrusion detection).
  • Familiarity with technical software for reporting and system diagnostics.
  • Experience working in commercial and industrial environments.
Responsibilities
  • Conduct inspections and testing of security systems and fire protection systems in compliance with ULC regulations.
  • Prepare detailed inspection reports and documentation for clients and regulatory bodies.
  • Identify deficiencies or non-compliance issues and recommend corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with installation and service managers to ensure system reliability and compliance.
  • Maintain accurate records of inspections, tests, and certifications.
  • Stay up to date with changes in codes, regulations, and industry best practices.
