Key Responsibilities: - Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations on patients in accordance with physician orders and established protocols - Prepare patients for procedures by explaining the process and ensuring their comfort and safety - Operate ultrasound equipment to capture high-quality images for interpretation - Maintain accurate and detailed patient records and documentation of procedures - Ensure the proper maintenance and calibration of ultrasound equipment - Adhere to infection control, safety standards, and confidentiality policies - Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members to provide comprehensive patient care Join our team and enjoy a supportive work environment that values professional growth and work-life balance. Requirements Skills and Qualifications: - Certification in Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS or equivalent) - Proven experience in performing ultrasound procedures - Strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology - Excellent communication and patient care skills - Ability to work independently and adapt to flexible scheduling - Attention to detail and accuracy in image capturing and documentation - Knowledge of safety protocols and infection control procedure - Must have completed an AMA approved program in Radiology with a degree or equivalent, or an AMA approved program in ultrasound and have a minimum of 1 years' experience and registered in specialty division of Ultrasound.
Responsibilities
The Ultrasound Technician will perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations and prepare patients for procedures. They will also maintain accurate patient records and ensure the proper functioning of ultrasound equipment.
