Get to Know Your Team: Hillcrest Medical Center is a 656-bed hospital that includes The Alexander Burn Center, The Peggy V. Helmerich Women’s Health Center, Kaiser Rehabilitation Center, the latest technology for the treatment of cancer, and the Oklahoma Heart Institute. Accountable for operating the ultrasound scanners, calling reports of exams, transporting patients to and from the department, and scheduling patients. Assist physicians with invasive procedures and administer basic C.P.R. Maintain high-quality imaging and have a thorough knowledge of ultrasound physics, anatomy, and positioning of patients. Coordinate patient prepping and scanning to maximize a smooth patient flow. Assist the supervisor in the daily operation of the ultrasound department. Job Requirements: Must be registered or registry eligible with the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS). If registry eligible upon hire, the technologist must become registered within one year of hire. Must maintain registry during employment. BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care. Preferred Job Requirements: ARDMS Registered in OB/GYN and AB. One year or more of Ultrasound Tech experience.
