Ultrasound Tech II - Full Time; Varied Shift Position Summary: Under the direction of the Radiologist, the Technologist will perform a variety of Ultrasound procedures. The technologist must demonstrate knowledge of both theoretical and practical applications of Ultrasound. The technologist must be able to work independently and produce a high quality study. The technologist must be able to communicate effectively with the radiologist and provide additional information pertinent to the study. This position is required to take call on a rotational base. They are also required to work weekends and holidays as needed. Education: * Must be a graduate of an approved school of Radiologic Technology, as well as, having additional Ultrasound Training that will qualify the employee to sit for the RDMS exam Experience: * One year of acute care experience in Ultrasound required; must meet the requirements of US 1. Licenses and/or Certifications: * Healthcare Provider CPR/BLS course certified by the American Heart Association. * RVT, Abdominal and OB registries required. Varied Shift 1.0

Responsibilities

The Ultrasound Tech II will perform a variety of ultrasound procedures under the direction of a radiologist. They must produce high-quality studies and communicate effectively with the radiologist.
