Description University Physicians' Association is seeking a full-time Ultrasound Technician for Women's Care Group located within the UT Medical Center. Responsibilities: Produce diagnostic images for abdominal and pelvic ultrasounds on obstetrical and gynecology patients. Travel to satellite offices within Knoxville area as needed. Perform perinatal ultrasounds including fetal anatomical surveys, assess fetal wellbeing, and doppler studies. Assist physicians with in-office procedures requiring ultrasound guidance. Explain procedure to patients and address their concerns in a friendly, caring, professional matter. Able to work independently. Communicate effectively and professionally with providers. Compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, and other office policies. Team player willing to assist with office workflow and other office duties to ensure appropriate patient care. Monitors, records, and communicates as appropriate utilizing electronic medical records system. Other duties as needed.
