JOB OVERVIEW

We are a dynamic and friendly team seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Ultrasound Technician to join us. In this role, you will be responsible for performing ultrasound examinations to assist in the assessment and diagnosis of patients. Your expertise in medical imaging will play a crucial role in providing accurate and timely information to physicians and contributing to patient care.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Completion of an accredited program in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or related field.
• Certification as a Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) is preferred.
• Understanding of medical terminology relevant to ultrasound imaging.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Conduct ultrasound examinations on patients, ensuring high-quality images are obtained for diagnostic purposes.
• Prepare patients for procedures by explaining the process and addressing any concerns they may have.
• Maintain patient records and document examination results accurately in accordance with established protocols.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
• Ensure all ultrasound equipment is properly maintained, calibrated, and functioning effectively.
• Adhere to safety protocols and infection control measures during all procedures.
• Stay updated on advancements in ultrasound technology and techniques to enhance patient care.
