Our centers are equipped to treat diagnostics, traumatic, and life-threatening injuries with caring and innovative team of healthcare professionals dedicated to enthusiastically improving the health and quality of life of the people we serve. We are seeking an Ultrasound Technologist in the Long Beach area who will be conducting ultrasound examinations which include operation of real-time and portable equipment as well as multiple imaging modalities, under the administrative direction of the Site Manager and the clinical direction of the Medical Director and Radiologist. Experience in use of Doppler and post-Doppler preferred. Additional tasks associated with keeping the radiology department running may perform ultrasound examinations which include operation of real-time and portable equipment as well as multiple imaging modalities, under the administrative direction of the Site Manager and the clinical direction of the Medical Director and Radiologist. Required Experience/ Education: Satisfactory and formal completion of an accredited, certified AMA school of Ultrasonography. SPI Certification is required, ARDMS Certification is a plus.  Successful completion of Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers is preferred. Experience in the use of Doppler and pulse Doppler preferred. Must have current CPR and Venipuncture license. Demonstrate competency in the use of all applicable aspects of the CIS, RIS, and PACS. Certified in Basic Cardiac Life Support. Good understanding of providing superior patient care; comfort, safety and confidentiality. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to interact effectively with doctors, patients, peers The ideal candidate will have: Strong verbal and written communication skills. Minimum of three years of clinical Ultrasound experience is required.
Responsibilities
