Job description: West Coast Wound and Skin Care is looking to hire a US Tech to be out in the field! Must be willing to drive within Denver area. US Tech is responsible for performing ultrasound to patients in their respective homes 1 day a week, as well as materials management, scribing, and performing chart checks. Responsible for obtaining data/metrics to facilitate our financial analysis of hiring for expansion and growth. Essential Job Functions · Operating equipment · Perform ultrasound on wound patients · Image interpretation · Patient interaction · Documentation and reporting · Order medical supplies. · Scribe for respective doctors. · Prepare patients for procedures. · Perform chart checks for evaluation of stalled wounds for existing patients. · Scribe for skin sweeps. · Make Initial Assessment calls. Qualifications · Valid US Tech Certification · 1-2 years of clinical management/medical experience preferred · Excellent customer service, organization, and interpersonal skills · Strong awareness of medical terminology · Strong desire for patient care Job Type: Full-time - 1099 Schedule: · Monday to Friday 8:30am-5pm Pay Structure (1099): Guaranteed base pay of $960-$1,080 per week Base is calculated at $32-$36/patient visit for a minimum of 6 patients per day $32-$36 per additional patient visit for any visits beyond the daily base Work Location: On the road
Responsibilities
The Ultrasound Technician performs ultrasounds on wound patients in their homes and manages medical supplies. They also provide administrative support by scribing for doctors, performing chart checks, and preparing patients for procedures.
