We are looking for a detail-oriented and compassionate person to join our imaging team. The Ultrasound Technologist will perform diagnostic sonographic examinations using high-frequency sound waves to produce images of internal organs, tissues, and vascular structures. This role requires strong technical skills, patient care expertise, and adherence to safety and quality standards. Key Responsibilities Patient Care & Preparation Welcome and prepare patients for ultrasound procedures, explaining the process and answering questions. Position patients appropriately and ensure their comfort during the exam. Review patient history and verify physician orders. Imaging & Equipment Operation Operate ultrasound equipment to obtain high-quality diagnostic images. Adjust technical settings and select appropriate transducers for each exam. Perform Doppler and vascular studies as required. Safety & Compliance Follow infection control and ultrasound safety protocols. Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation in compliance with HIPAA and company policies. Collaboration & Communication Work closely with radiologists and physicians to review images and provide preliminary observations. Communicate effectively with patients and healthcare team members. Maintenance & Quality Assurance Perform routine equipment checks and cleaning. Report any equipment issues promptly and assist in troubleshooting. Qualifications Education: Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or related field. Certification: ARDMS or equivalent required; BLS/CPR certification preferred. Experience: Minimum 1–2 years of ultrasound experience in a clinical or imaging center setting. Skills: Proficiency in abdominal, obstetric, gynecologic, and vascular ultrasound. Excellent communication and patient care skills. Ability to work independently and maintain attention to detail. QualificationsRequirements Requirements: High School Diploma/GED required. Licensed by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) RDMS RVT preferred Breast Imaging and Ultrasound guided biopsy experience preferred Knowledge of safety requirements to provide instructions and to recognize and correct hazardous conditions Minimum of 1- 2 years of experience required in ultrasound and related testing and Quality Control in ultrasound Multi-modality is a plus Knowledge of examination, diagnostic, and treatment room procedures Knowledge of medical equipment and instruments to administer patient care Excellent communications skills Flexibility in scheduling
