Description JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Performs routine breast ultrasound procedures following the protocols established by the radiologist. Properly inputs all required patient information into the system including the protocol, patient history in full sentences, performing providers, and any additional information to the radiologist regarding the procedure. Obtains complete and detailed history to assist the radiologist with the diagnosis of each patient. Performs exams in an accurate and timely manner. Properly identifies patients and demonstrates compassion while maintaining patient confidentiality. Maintains exam rooms by stocking exam rooms with necessary supplies. Maintains equipment and reports any equipment malfunctions to the supervisor or appropriate service provider. Properly windows and levels images for film printing and burns CDs as necessary. Promotes teamwork by assisting other staff as needed. Performs other duties as required. Requirements Requirements High School Diploma or GED. Completion of a course in Ultrasound; Current RDMS certification Sonography: 2 years (Preferred) License: RDMS (Required)
