Description Now Hiring: Ultrasound Technologist Sign on Bonus: $5,000 Location: Sarasota, FL (6600 University Pkwy) Status: Full Time Monday - Friday Schedule: 8:00am-4:30pm (Flexible) Radiology Regional is one of the largest physician-driven diagnostic imaging providers, with 13 imaging centers, in Southwest Florida. We are seeking an ultrasound technologist with a passion to care for others in the communities we serve. Job Summary for Ultrasound Technologist: The ultrasound technologist performs a variety of ultrasound scanning and imaging procedures at a technical level not requiring constant supervision of technical detail. Performs a variety of technical ultrasound procedures that require independent judgment, with ingenuity and initiative to apply prescribed ultrasound for ultrasound diagnosis. Assumes responsibility for designated areas or procedures as required. Performs all specialty areas of ultrasound exams to include assisting radiologists with procedures. Prepares and reviews images for radiologist / physician interpretation for diagnostic purposes. Requirements Required: associate degree (two-year college or technical school) from CAAHEP accredited program Required: RDMS, ARRT (US), or CCI credentialed/registered in appropriate ultrasound specialty. Required: Knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and not less than 6 months practical ultrasound experience required. Required: Vascular registry Required: CPR Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
