Our global client is currently seeking experienced Umbilical Consultants for offshore assignments in Norway to support subsea umbilical installation, termination, and commissioning operations. The ideal candidate will bring technical expertise in umbilical systems and a proven track record in offshore execution within the oil and gas sector.
All applicants MUST reside in the UK or Europe due to entry restrictions.
All applicants must have valid offshore certificates

• Oversee the planning, preparation, and offshore execution of umbilical installation and testing operations
• Act as the technical lead and client representative during umbilical deployment, pull-ins, terminations, and hook-ups
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, safety procedures, and regulatory requirements
• Interface with subsea contractors, vessel personnel, and onshore engineering teams to ensure alignment and successful execution
• Supervise offshore operations related to umbilicals including routing, lay tension, overboarding, and subsea connection
• Monitor system integrity, manage risks, and resolve technical challenges in real-time during operations
• Review and contribute to method statements, procedures, risk assessments, and lift plans
• Maintain detailed logs, daily reports, and close-out documentation for project records
• Ensure all HSE policies are followed and promote a strong safety culture onboard
