We have been engaged by a a defense contractor in the Reston VA area for a GL Accounting Manager role. This position requires experience with Unanet. Great opportunity to join a growing company with an established GovCon business model.

REQUIREMENTS:

5+ years accounting experience in defense contracting or manufacturing
BS in Accounting or Finance
Strong competency with Unanet accounting system
Locality to Reston V

Lead monthly close processes including balance sheet reconciliations, accruals and reclasses
Oversight of accounts payable, accounts receivable and payroll processing
Post journal entries as required for asset, liability and income statement accounts
Monthly Financial Statement reporting, budget variance analysis and commentary in coordination with the Sr. Program Controller
Assist with income and indirect tax filings
Liaise with external auditors for needed documentation and financial reports
