Description Unarmed Security Officer Position Type: Part-Time; Full-Time Pay Type: Hourly Shift: Evenings| 4:00pm - 12:00am| Weekend shifts Location: Oklahoma City We are seeking a professional and dependable Unarmed Security Officer to provide evening coverage in a hospital environment. This role is responsible for maintaining a safe and secure atmosphere for patients, visitors, physicians, nurses, and staff members. The ideal candidate is calm under pressure, observant, and skilled in communication and de-escalation. Hospital security requires strong customer service skills combined with the ability to respond confidently during emergencies. Key Responsibilities: Monitor hospital entrances, exits, and designated access points Conduct routine patrols of patient care areas, parking lots, and common spaces Respond to emergency calls, disturbances, and security alerts Assist staff with combative, intoxicated, or emotionally distressed individuals De-escalate tense situations using professional communication techniques Enforce hospital policies and visitor guidelines Complete detailed incident and activity reports Coordinate with local law enforcement and emergency responders when necessary Requirements: Ability to work independently during an evening shift (4:00pm - 12:00am) and weekends Strong observational skills and attention to detail Excellent communication and interpersonal skills CLEET Phase I and II preferred, but training and licensing will be provided for the right candidates Prior security or law enforcement experience is a plus but not required Reliable, responsible, and committed to maintaining a secure environment If you are a reliable and experienced Unarmed Security Guard with a passion for ensuring the safety and security of people and property, we encourage you to apply for this position.
