JOB SUMMARY:

Metro Security Services is hiring a flexible, dependable Unarmed Security Officer for gate access control and guest assistance. This position requires someone who is comfortable working between 1st and 2nd shifts and who can balance friendly customer service with strict access control. Officers will check credentials for everyone entering the property and assist guests with directions or questions as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High school diploma or equivalent (Required)
• Security experience preferred but not mandatory (training available)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Reliable, punctual, and flexible with working 1st and 2nd shifts as needed
• Ability to remain alert and on your feet for extended periods
• Must be able to work weekends and holidays when needed

• Monitor entrance and verify credentials for all personnel, guests, and vehicles entering the property.
• Politely stop and question anyone attempting to enter without proper authorization.
• Provide directions and answer general guest inquiries.
• Perform regular foot patrols of gates, perimeter fences, and facility grounds.
• Complete detailed shift reports, log entries, and incident reports.
• Respond promptly and appropriately to emergencies or security incidents.
• Report any safety hazards, suspicious behavior, or maintenance concerns.
• Maintain a professional appearance and customer-friendly demeanor at all times.
