Description Pay Range: $18.50 – $20.50 per hour (DOE) Opening for Swing shift Graveyard position Interviews: In-person, on-site Status: Uniformed, Unarmed – No Weapons Carried Position Overview ISMG is seeking professional Unarmed Security Officers to join our team in the Boyle Heights area of Los Angeles. This position requires individuals who can remain alert, experienced, and proactive in maintaining a safe environment. Officers will work independently and as part of a team to protect property, enforce community rules, and provide exceptional customer service. Responsibilities · Protect people, property, and facilities by maintaining a visible security presence. · Communicate with ISMG Dispatch via 2-way radio; all activity is logged in CAD reports. · Enforce community lease rules: cite vehicles, report violations, take photos, and submit management reports. · Respond calmly and professionally to both routine and crises. · Provide an empathetic approach to de-escalating conflicts. · Utilize mobile Detex and reporting software to document patrols and incidents. · Write accurate, detailed, and consistent incident reports. · Perform duties requiring standing, walking, driving a golf cart, bending, and climbing stairs in various weather conditions. · Carry out additional responsibilities as outlined in post orders. Qualifications · Minimum 2 years of uniformed security experience. · Valid California Guard Card · Valid California Driver’s License or State ID. · Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. · Excellent attendance and punctuality; ability to work weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed. · Strong written and verbal communication in English (Spanish a plus). · Professional appearance and demeanor. · Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening which includes testing for Marijuana · Physically capable of performing essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
