Key Responsibilities Elite Deterrence: Maintain a high-visibility, professional presence to deter illegal activities and ensure the safety of personnel and assets at high-value sites. Access Control: Manage ingress and egress at facility checkpoints, verifying identification and enforcing strict entry protocols in accordance with federal and state standards. Patrol & Surveillance: Conduct regular foot or vehicle patrols; monitor CCTV and security systems to detect and report suspicious activity. Incident Response: Respond promptly to alarms and disturbances in a calm, professional, and paramilitary manner. Reporting: Prepare accurate, detailed Incident Reports and Daily Activity Reports (DAR) that meet agency and client standards. Required Qualifications (Tennessee Standards) Licensing: Must possess a valid Tennessee Unarmed Security Guard License (active registration with the Tennessee Department of Commerce & Insurance). Eligibility: Must be at least 18 years of age. Must be a U.S. Citizen or a resident alien. Must be of good moral character with no disqualifying criminal history (no felony convictions in the last 5 years; no misdemeanors involving violence, firearms, or theft). Training: Must have completed the state-mandated 4-hour basic training course covering Orientation, Legal Powers, Emergency Procedures, and General Duties. Experience: Previous security, military, or law enforcement experience is highly preferred to align with our paramilitary culture. Discipline: Ability to maintain a polished, police-style uniform and adhere to strict grooming and conduct standards. Professional Appearance & Equipment Ambassador Worldwide Protection Agency (AWPA) maintains a "gold standard" for appearance. As a paramilitary organization, we believe that a sharp, disciplined presence is the first step in effective deterrence and professional service. Officers are required to wear a clean, pressed, police-style uniform provided by AWPA. Maintaining the integrity of this uniform is a core requirement of the role, ensuring that every Ambassador officer represents the agency with distinction and authority at all times.
