As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a chemical and petrochemical location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and maintain a visible presence that helps to discourage incidents. You will document security-related activity, respond to alarms and service requests, and communicate clearly with site teams and visitors. What You'll Do: Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out post orders, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location. Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, production areas as authorized, parking areas, and perimeter lines; working environments and conditions may vary by site. Control access by monitoring gates and/or entry points, verifying identification and/or authorization, and directing deliveries and/or service providers to approved locations. Respond to alarms, spills or release notifications, medical calls, and other incidents in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site leadership and/or public emergency services as directed. Complete routine documentation such as activity logs, patrol reports, and incident reports, and communicate observed hazards and/or unusual activity through the established chain of command. Minimum Requirements: Customer Service Experience is preferred. Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. A guard card and/or license is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
