OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Supervisor to oversee operations and ensure the safety and security of our facility. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in surveillance, loss prevention, and conflict management. This role requires excellent leadership skills and the ability to manage a team effectively while maintaining high standards of safety and security.

REQUIREMENTS

• Valid CA Driver’s License with a clean record (Required)
• Fluent in both English and Spanish (Required)
• No issues with transportation or distance Customer Service Experience
• 
  
• Ability to learn and adapt to technology (computers, smartphones and camera systems)

• Excellent Verbal & Written Communication skills
• Ability to walk/stand for an extended period of time
• Ability to carry 45 lbs. weight
• Experience/Education
• Associate Degree in Criminal Justice or 3+ years of equivalent work experience
• At least 2 years of business management, operations, or supervisory experience (military or law enforcement experience preferred but not required)
• Experience in developing, motivating, and training staf
• Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills (Required)

DUTIES REQUIRED BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

• Documentation via electronic device throughout the shift
• Hourly driving and foot patrols w/ checkpoint scans
• Inspections of Common Areas (Trash Enclosure, Vacancy Units, Roof Access)
• Submit detailed reports with pictures
• Hold Over Until Relieved
• Opening Procedures
• Trespassing Enforcement (High Activity)
• Parking Enforcement
• Supervises a team of 4+ security officers
• Support the Account Manager in monitoring the integrity of the site
• Takes proactive steps to provide a safe and secure working environment to staff and visitors.
• Maintains high interaction with tenants, property management, security management, customers, and officers.
• Responds to Calls for Service with a sense of urgency diligently follows through until each issue is fully resolved.
• Ensures compliance of the Post Orders and provides detailed instructions for officers
• Assist in observing officers in their element and reviewing reports and activity
• Making sure ALL officers are properly trained, familiar with the property, maintain well-dressed per uniform requirements, and be knowledgeable on how to respond to various situations
• Be instrumental in training and proof reading various reports.
• In charge of enforcing rules and regulations during the shift’s operations in regards to Overton Security and Limoneira Farms policies and procedures.
• Demonstrates flexibility and adaptability to ensure smooth operations that involve scheduling such as ensuring site coverage at all times, accommodating an officer’s personal circumstance, a submission of a time off request form, or merely the need to communicate a current schedule update as a result of a call-off or a no show for a shift
• Ability to work with confidential and classified information.
• It is imperative that the Site Supervisor communicates the exact details with his/her Supervisor or Account Manager to work on solutions and goals.
• Must be able to effectively supervise the shifts security officers daily operations.
• Proven experience in a supervisory role, preferably in security or law enforcement settings.
• Strong knowledge of surveillance techniques, loss prevention strategies, and emergency response protocols.
• Certification in CPR and first aid is preferred; additional certifications related to security or law enforcement are a plus.
• Ability to manage conflicts with professionalism and tact while maintaining a calm demeanor under pressure.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to lead a diverse team effectively.
• Strong observational skills with attention to detail for identifying potential security risks.
• Ability to work flexible hours as needed, including nights or weekends if required by operational demands.
  This is a combination Driving (vehicle) and Foot Patrol Posting Candidates must be able to perform patrols for the duration of their shift.
