The role supports the delivery of quality care through assessment support, implementation of care plans, monitoring patient status, and communication with the health care team. The Undergraduate Nursing Employee is accountable for providing care within their education preparation, demonstrated competency, and organizational policies, and seeks guidance when patient needs exceed their authorized responsibility.
