Job Description:
Summary:
The Research Assistant will assist with the analysis of data from 3 waves of the Ghana Socioeconomic Panel Survey.

Responsibilities:

  • Merging of data modules.
  • initial statistical analysis regarding sample characteristics.
  • Eventual econometric modeling of the relationship between time spent by family members in care of older persons and the well-being outcomes of the caregivers.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:

  • Part-Time.
  • 10 hours per week.

Salary Range:

  • $17.95 per hour.

Required Education and Experience:

  • The student should have a strong preparation in data management and the software package R.
  • Open to current AU Undergraduate students only.
