This role operates on a 7:7 roster with 12-hour shifts. We offer both residential positions—allowing you to return home to your family each day—and FIFO opportunities from Perth. FIFO employees will earn Qantas Frequent Flyer points and stay in comfortable, fully catered accommodation at our camp in Coolgardie
About the role
As an Underground Shift Supervisor, you’ll play a key leadership role at the frontline of our operations. Your primary responsibility will be to guide and support our crews through the demands of daily underground work—ensuring not just productivity, but safety, teamwork, and a strong work ethic.
This is a hands-on, boots-on-the-ground position where you’ll be actively involved in all aspects of underground operations. You won’t just manage from afar—you’ll lead by example. Whether it’s overseeing tasks, troubleshooting challenges, or mentoring team members, your presence and proactive leadership will help drive performance and foster a positive crew culture.
You’ll also be expected to uphold and enforce all relevant safety regulations and mining legislation, maintaining the highest standards of compliance and professionalism. Flexibility is essential—you’ll work across all mine sections and lead by always putting safety first, delivering quality work, and setting the tone for a safe, efficient, and respectful working environment.
About you
It is important that you have previous experience working within high speed development operations and have the following attributes;
Experience in high-speed development (highly desirable)
Current WA Underground Shift Supervisor Certificate
10 years Underground experience
A passion for safe, efficient operations
Valid Manual Drivers Licence
All valid and relevant qualifications, certificates, and licences (RPL’s)
Ability to pass Pre-Employment Medical and DAS
