We’re looking for a skilled, safety-first and proven Underground Supervisor with 5+ years of experience in the underground mining industry to join us for ongoing projects in Rocanville, SK. Responsibilities will include:

  • Directly supervising and coordinating an underground workforce (e.g., Miners, Bolters, Equipment Operators, Trades) to ensure project objectives are met safely and efficiently.
  • Assisting in planning, scheduling, and prioritizing daily and weekly underground work activities in alignment with project timelines and specifications.
  • Championing and enforcing all site-specific and Threeosix safety policies, procedures (including JHA/FLRAs, LOTO), and PPE requirements for underground operations; conducting daily toolbox talks and safety inspections.
  • Interpreting engineering drawings, ground control plans, blueprints, work orders, and specifications to guide underground work execution and ensure compliance.
  • Proactively identifying and resolving on-site technical, logistical, or personnel issues within the underground environment to maintain project momentum.
  • Monitoring work progress, quality of workmanship, and productivity underground, implementing corrective actions as necessary.
  • Liaising effectively with project management, client representatives, and other stakeholders to ensure clear communication and alignment regarding underground activities.
  • Facilitating resource allocation, including personnel, equipment, and materials, to support efficient workflow in underground headings.
  • Preparing or contributing to daily progress reports, safety documentation, and other project records specific to underground operations.
  • Fostering a positive, collaborative, and productive work environment for all underground crew members.

We Require:

  • Ability to successfully pass pre-employment drug and alcohol testing as per site requirements.
  • 5+ years of experience in a supervisory role overseeing crews in the underground mining industry.
  • Leadership for Safety Excellence (LSE) or equivalent supervisory safety training.
  • Standard First Aid with CPR Level C.
