SUMMARY

(Please note, this job posting is for our West Kelowna Location)
We are hiring individuals who are looking for or have experience in aerial and underground fiber optic cable placement. Individuals who excel in this role may get exposure and/or training on HD Drilling equipment.

QUALIFICATIONS

• MUST provide a driver’s abstract and confirm a minimum 3 years continuous current insurance with no claims or convictions on record
• Must be ok with the possibility of working out of town with extended possible overnight stays.
• Grade 12 or GED

SKILLS AND ABILITIES

• Must be comfortable with heights and working outdoors in all weather conditions year round
• Hand tool experience (IE Drills, saws, jackhammers, ECT) an asset
• 6 months experience operating trucks and trailers preferred
• Must be able to lift up to 40lbs
• This job often requires overtime hours. The successful candidate should be okay with a flexible schedule and have an ability to work with different people and tasks
