The Underwriter role combines technical risk assessment with commercial development responsibilities.  The position is accountable for selecting and pricing risks while ensuring alignment with the Group’s risk appetite and profitability objectives. It also drives business growth through proactive origination, client relationship management and cross-selling initiatives.  The role requires strong collaboration across underwriting centres and internal functions, particularly in claims and reporting.  Finally, it involves maintaining high-quality data, monitoring portfolio performance and contributing to market intelligence and technical expertise.
