About Revolut
People deserve more from their money. More visibility, more control, and more freedom. Since 2015, Revolut has been on a mission to deliver just that. Our powerhouse of products — including spending, saving, investing, exchanging, travelling, and more — help our 60+ million customers get more from their money every day.
As we continue our lightning-fast growth,‌ 2 things are essential to our success: our people and our culture. In recognition of our outstanding employee experience, we’ve been certified as a Great Place to Work™. So far, we have 10,000+ people working around the world, from our offices and remotely, to help us achieve our mission. And we’re looking for more brilliant people. People who love building great products, redefining success, and turning the complexity of a chaotic world into the simplicity of a beautiful solution.
About the role
The credit department at Revolut is anything but ordinary. They design, develop, and launch credit products across the globe. The team manages our products from day one to the end — developing the back and front-end, the data science infrastructure, and then creating a local setup in each country with scalable risk management and portfolio management solutions. It’s a big job, but our people are a credit to us all.
As a Mortgage Underwriter, you’ll play a crucial role in ensuring high-quality lending decisions and conducting thorough credit risk assessments within the 1st Line of Defense (1LoD).
In this role, you’ll be a key decision-maker, driving risk acceptance while shaping and implementing best practices in credit risk management. As this is a relatively new product in our portfolio, your expertise and insights will be instrumental in refining our risk framework, enhancing underwriting standards, and contributing to a strong risk culture across the organization.

  • Identifying discrepancies or potential risks in applications, proposing risk mitigating measures, or escalating concerns where necessary to higher decision making authorities or supporting functions
  • Providing guidance and consultation to Mortgage Advisors and other 1LoD functions, offering training, addressing knowledge gaps, and fostering a strong credit risk culture across decision-makers
